FASHION TIP FOR WOMEN

10 Simple Fashion Tips for Women

  •     Forget about the word “fashion” and think “style” – it may be mentally less intimidating or more “wearable”! .
  •     Even if you stay at home, make an effort to dress everyday as if you are going out. This changes your whole approach to even the most mundane household chores. You will find you have a more positive attitude and are less inclined to be reduced to a couch potato, in your slovenly sweat pants and baggy T-shirt.
  •     Clear out your closet. Get rid of those items which are outdated, do not suit you or simply do not make you feel good. Make room for that new wardrobe of clothes that you are going to build, slowly, piece by piece.
  •     Take stock of how many classic items you currently have in your closet. Start building new outfits which will prove versatile and timeless – go anywhere and do anything. You should aim to have a wardrobe base of well cut, classic pieces and a few cheap fun, fashionable outfits that are right on trend, which can be replaced every season.
  •     Treat your wardrobe as an investment. "Create a closet that is full of must-have pieces rather than make-do ones,"
  •     Ensure that your wardrobe is built around some style staples which will take you from season to season and can be dressed up or down. A good coat, a little black dress, a wrap dress, well cut denims, a classic pair of black pants, cashmere cardigan and a stylish crisp white shirt. Update these looks every season with some fab accessories.
  •     According to Grace, buying a really great bag and a pair of look-at-me shoes, which will transform any outfit. Transform your “walk” into a “wiggle”.
  •     Get to know your body shape. Are you a pear, apple, brick, hour glass or inverted triangle?
  •     Learn how to play down your flaws and make the most of your assets. Learn how to disguise big hips, stomachs or a larger bust and learn what not to wear if you are short or flat-chested.
  •     Shop smarter. Ask yourself a few key questions regarding what suits you before you shop and plan what to buy in advance.

SPORTS: SIMULATION ( DIVING)

So i came across this video of the italian training ground, and apparently the players were been thought how to dive. shocking but true, actually its pretty funny too. This pretend debacle is becoming a serious business in football. players keep using it to gain unfair advantage to win free kicks and penalties. If they keep this up, very soon we are going be watching 90minutes of acting football instead of real football. so which players or team in your own opinion are the best divers?

FASHION TIP FOR OCTOBER: MALE

Here are 15 Quick Fashion tips:

1. Fit is King – The most dramatic improvement you can make in your style is to make sure everything fits impeccably. Most guys wear clothes that are too large. Make sure everything you wear is almost hugging the shape of your body – without being tight. Bad fit is an epidemic, cure yourself.

2. Keep it simple – You want a wardrobe that looks great on you, but don’t overdo it. Don’t wear more than three pieces of jewelry or more than three colors. Don’t dress like a rock star unless you’re in a band. If you want to be flashy, a simpler but stylish look would be sporting a black striped dress shirt with a white blazer, a dark pair of jeans, a dressy belt, and your sharpest dress shoes. You could also add a flashy watch or a simple accessory like an interesting necklace, but nothing more.

3. Change the way you see casual – casual doesn’t have to be boring. Have fun with collared shirts, or take some inspiration from those who approach casual a bit differently.

4. Pay attention to your supporting pieces - Some sweaters are lean and others are big and chunky. The first rule of thumb is that your top and bottom halves need to match. If you’re wearing a big, chunky, rugged fisherman knit sweater, your bottom needs to be rugged, too. Don’t wear a fisherman’s sweater with a beautiful silk-and-wool suit pant. Instead, wear it with something as casual as cargos or jeans, or dress it up with a Harris tweed blazer.

5. Never go shopping alone – Most of the time, it’s tough to trust the sales people because they usually work for commission. Shop with a friend who will give you their honest opinion. Also, read about shopping on a budget.

6. Stay a notch above – Don’t overdo it to a fault, but dare to take some risks. It’s always better to be a little bit overdressed than underdressed in any setting. All you have to do is think about where and who you’re going to be with and just step it up one notch. But make sure you’re not better dressed than someone who is more important in a certain setting, like your boss.

7. Never underestimate the power of details – The last thing on is usually the first thing noticed. So mind the details instead of throwing together the main parts of your outfit. “Details” can include a scarf, a subtle pocket square, or the way you tie your tie knot.

8. Invest in a superb pair of shoes – If it’s one thing that women will notice, it’s your shoes. Especially how clean and sharp they look. It’s easy to wash and press the rest of your clothes to keep them looking new, but most guys disregard their shoes. Show that you’re a man of taste by getting a great pair of shoes and keeping them in pristine condition.

9. Fashion Tees with logos – When you’re going around with a big logo on your shirt, you risk looking like a walking billboard. Lose the lame Coca-Cola shirt and go for a classic v-neck tee or something artsy

10. Disregard trends – Beware of buying something just because it’s “in” right now – stick to what you truly like. A lot of people rush to get in on the latest trend and end up with a bunch of clothes they don’t wear. It’s better to learn to build a versatile and timeless wardrobe first – then bring in your own twists with some of the new fashion. This one tip will save you so much money!

11. Don’t be a sucker for brand names – Don’t be a Patrick Bateman. Before you decide to purchase an item, ask yourself if you are buying it simply because of the brand name or because you love the quality and style. Ask yourself,  “Would I buy this if there was no logo on it?”

12. Continually cultivate your image – Invest more time and money into your image. Cultivate your fashion sense. Your style is a huge mode of communication, and is worth caring for as much as your education, career, and relationships. Oscar Schoffler, longtime fashion editor of Esquire once said, “Never underestimate the power of what you wear. After all, there’s just a small bit of yourself sticking out at the collar and cuff. The rest of the world sees what you drape on your frame.”

13. Ask for real feedback - Most of your friends and family aren’t going to go out of their way to tell you what looks bad. You have to ask for it. In fact, ask anyone and everyone you trust to tell you the truth. Ask your hairstylist, ask your best friend, ask your mother! If you think they might be too nice, send me an e-mail . I have no problem giving out real feedback.

14. Upgrade your shave - Even if your fashion is golden, an unkempt beard can be an attraction killer. Achieve a perfect shave by trying a shave brush & old-fashioned double-edged razor.

15. Experiment with style – The only way you’ll really learn, is if you go out there and try new things. I make an effort to try something completely out of my comfort zone whenever I’m at a store – many times you’ll end up loving something you never thought you would. If you make mistakes, life goes on. So many guys are afraid to express themselves through their style, don’t be one of them.

 Have a great weekend people.
hugs.

FASHION TIP OF THE DAY : MALE

Keep Your Ties Looking Their Best

Nothing brings a dashing outfit together quite like a clean, wrinkle free tie; but no ensemble will ever shine with a worn, tatty rag knotted around your neck. Ties are delicate accessories and need the best of care to keep them looking tip-top.
Use the following tips to ensure your next smart outfit is a winner thanks to a sharp, crisp necktie:

Always Unknot

Once the day is through you should always remove your necktie with care. The temptation is to tug and pull the slipknot apart; this places undue stress on the delicate fabric. Instead, perform the regular tying moves but in reverse – that way you don’t have to worry about distorting your finest silk.

Cleaning Essentials

As with other smart outfit fundamentals, the dry cleaner is the best place to get your ties laundered. A good cleaning shop will use a delicate touch, so it’s worthwhile using a ‘not-so-loved’ necktie if testing the waters at a new Laundromat.
Should you find yourself the victim of a plate of bolognaise sauce or a glass of red wine, always blot away the excess – never rub – this’ll only spread the stain making the situation worse.

Ditch the tags, bars and clips

Whatever accoutrement you favour, consider removing it when its not entirely necessary. Each item will place an undue stress on the cloth, warping and distorting the fabric. While an occasional tie clip is fine, try to avoid using on a regular basis.

Storage is key

Rolling and scrunching will see your ties off faster than anything! The fragile fibres require extra special attention. Ideally, you’d want to invest in a tie rack as soon as possible. Failing this, carefully drape your ties over a coat hanger with a cylindrical bar in the middle to prevent any misshapening.
TOP TIP: When travelling, gently fold your ties and place inside clean dress shoes; this way they won’t get crushed and malformed in your luggage.

Say goodbye when its time

Perhaps the best way to keep your ties looking their utmost is to rid yourself of the old ones. Remove them from your collection when the points become soft and rounded or the fabric begins to pull rather than glide over itself.
Don’t mourn the loss – ties are one of the most reasonably priced accessories, so instead celebrate by purchasing two; remember, you can never have enough neckties!

word of advise: dress shabbily and they would remember the dress, but dress impeccable and they would remember the man.

THE ZINEDINE ZIDANE HEADBUTT STATUE

The Pompidou museum in Paris recently unveiled a 5meter statue of Zinedine Zidane. The statue depicts the infamous moment when Zidane headbutted Mazzeratti in the 2006 world cup final.

You know the story, 2006 world cup final, france vs italy1-1 tie. extra time Italy's marco materazzi and french living legend zinedine zidane are getting into it verbally, enventually zidane cant take it anymore and this happens. everyone's stunned. Zidane gets sent off. Italy wins. Zidane said he did it because Mazzeratti insulted his family, but the how's and why's don't mater so much as one of football's great career ended like that. its almost tragic.... so naturally there's a 16 foot tall statue commemorating the head-butt in France.
So what special moment would you like to see immortalized? I would personally go for the maradona's hand of God.
